2011-2012 International Service projects for the Mammoth Lakes Noon Club is really exciting!

We will be building a home in Tecate, Mexico for a needy family through the Corazon Project in May of 2012.  We will be hosting a GSE Team from Verazruz, Mexico, also in May.  We will be sending two students to the World Affairs Seminar in Wisconsin next June.  We are actively attempting to transfer used playground equipment from the Town of Mammoth Lakes to a Rotary Club in San Felipe, Baja Mexico.  Our President-elect will be attending the Rotary International Convention in Thailand next spring.  And we are working with our Foundation Chair, Dan Watson, to promote club wide contributions to the Rotary International Foundation this year.  We have a small committee to oversee these activities, and if you would like to participate or comment, please contact me at your convenience.  I like to think the world is a better place because of Rotary and our active club's involvement.
