Mammoth Lakes Rotary Interact students are reaching out to the community to raise money for the school district.  They are collecting Boxtops.  Boxtops for education are a nation-wide program that provides funding for schools across the country.  The Mammoth chapter of the boxtops program has put boxes at locations around town (Mammoth Hospital, Library, Booky Joint, Mimi's Cookie Bar, and Looney Bean) to see how many "Boxtops" they can collect by the end of January.
Once you purchase an item with the specific  Boxtops symbol on top of participating products such as those made by Betty Crocker, Hamburger Helper, Ziploc and more, cut out and turn it in to one of the collecting stations.  Every Boxtops cutout are worth 10 cents.  Sounds like a little but with everyone participating it adds up quickly.

What a great opportunity to become part of the movement dedicated to education and participate with our Interact students to help Mammoth schools.
