Rotarians Sheryl Saari, Jim Clark, Lois Klein, Gary Sims and Dennis Brown were primed and ready to hand out refreshments to the over 1,200 runners in the 2019 Mammoth Half Marathon. Runners started this stunningly picturesque race through Northern California’s High Sierras at roughly 9,000 feet above sea level, and followed a route that ran along a combination of trails and mountain roads — including stretches around lakes and across a bridge.
