Calvin Forsythe, 2016 recipient of our college completion scholarship, received his first check from club president Luan Mendel on July 19th. As required by the terms of the scholarship, Calvin successfully completed two years (and two A.A. degrees) at Cerro Coso Community College and was accepted as a transfer student at San Diego State University. The club will provide financial support for Calvin's junior and senior years, and we look forward to following his progress toward a four-year degree.SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
